We are passionate about this new trend in biking, the electrical way! Unlike the car market, where EV vehicles are exorbitantly expensive and can only be afforded by the rich and famous, our products are affordable for the average South African.
We pride ourselves in having a wide range of products, and will help our clients get onto the right machine. This includes the children that need to get to school and back, the young adults that need to get to work and back, and the enthusiasts that want to experience the exhilaration and convenience of two wheel EV machines.
We are enthusiastic about introducing this new technology to South Africa, and making it affordable for many. We believe that this new technology will give people more freedom and more fun.

A few words
About the founder
eRIDE was established in 2022, by owner and CEO, Maurizio Cacchione, who is an avid and biker enthusiast. He is a qualified BSc Engineer (Electronics) with extensive experience in variable speed systems – one of the key technologies used in electric scooters and bikes.
With an keen eye for innovation and a successful entrepreneurial journey spanning almost 40 years, Maurizio decided to combine his electrical knowledge and passion for biking to embark on a new venture, which brings with it the opportunity for more South Africans to have access to electrical mobility.

We see thousands of South Africans, moving around in urban areas utilising greener, convenient and cheaper electrical power.
